8-CHANNEL TRAIN DETECTOR DET-8

The BLOCKsignalling 8-channel train detector is a cost-effective way to monitor the presence of trains on sections of track anywhere on your layout. Using the included photoelectric detectors, the module drives leds to indicate when trains are present.

AUTOMATIC DC SHUTTLE WITH POINTS CONTROL

The BLOCKsignalling PTS1 is designed to automate up to three DC model trains
running backwards and forwards along lengths of track. Various configurations of
track can be used, incorporating solenoid operated points, to give many options for
varied layout plans.

AUTOMATIC FROG JUICER FROG1

There are many ways to set the frog polarity on a set of points, including adding
microswitches to points motors, or using methods of operating points where there
are additional contacts available. Where this is not the case, the juicer provides
another quick and easy method of automatically switching frog polarity, without the
operator even needing to be aware of the polarity change.

AUTOMATIC TRACK LOOP CONTROLLER L1-DC

The module is connected to the points motors at both ends of a section of track with a loop. Each of the two lines has a section isolated either by insulated track joiners or breaks in the track. This section is normally not energised and so any train reaching this section will come to a stop. Two infra-red sensors are connected to the module that detect trains entering either the loop (L), or the main section of track (M) depending on the setting of the points. Only one sensor is active at a time.

Aspect Controller ASP1-NS

We love model railways with light signals. You can operate them from toggle switches when you only have a couple of aspects to operate, but when it comes signals with more aspects the wiring can become complex.
We were keen to provide a solution that would add some simple automation to 2-, 3- or 4-aspect signals, without the need for soldering, programming or making any additional connections.

Capacitor Discharge Units

Provide a high current pulse to operate points
Prevent points' motor burn-out by limiting subsequent current
Regulates charging current to prevent voltage fluctuations on the rest of the layout
Versions available with Ready light
Model railways which use points generally use points motors to create the movement of the blades of the points.

DC & DCC AUTOREVERSER WITH POINTS CONTROL REV2

When you want to add a loop to the end of a track, you are left with a problem - as the train leaves the loop to return to the main line the polarity of the main line is incorrect.
The REV2 autoreverser automates this task, so the points are always aligned with the approaching train, and the polarity on the main line is automatically set to suit (whether using DC or DCC).

DC SHUTTLE SS1

The BLOCKsignalling Simple Shuttle is designed to automate a DC model train running backwards and forwards along a single length of track. At each end of the track, an insulated rail gap to stops the train until the track current is automatically reversed by the module and the train will start traveling in the opposite direction.
The time between each change in direction can be changed by a simple screwdriver adjustment. The delay time for each direction is adjustable between 1 second and 10 minutes.

DC SHUTTLE WITH SPEED CONTROL & ADJUSTABLE DELAYS

The SS2A is part of our new range of DC shuttles, designed to add variety and
interest on a layout by operating a model train back and forth along a section of line.
The train stops when it crosses a track gap at the end of the line, cutting off power to
the locomotive. The train runs in the opposite direction when the module changes
the polarity to the track.
The waiting time can be set between 1 second to 10 minutes using the simple
adjustment on the module.

DCC SHUTTLE AND STATION STOP 151FF1X

The BLOCKsignalling SDCC1 is a self-contained mini DCC Control Station that can
operate a single DCC equipped loco backwards and forwards along a section of
track, optionally stopping at one or more intermediate stations. All starts and stops
occur with realistic acceleration and deceleration.

LED Signal Controller

Uses an infra-red sensor mounted below the track to detect trains passing
above. When a train is detected, the module triggers the signal to switch to red. Signal automatically switches back to green (through yellow and double-
yellow if appropriate). Flexible programming options to suit different signals and to allow adjustment of timings to suit

POINTS POSITION INDICATOR PPI4

The Points Position Indicator (PPI) monitors the brief switching voltage to either of
the two coils of a points motor, and displays the last operation using coloured leds
that can be mounted on a route mimic.

STATION STOP MODULE SSM1

The SSM1 is a Station Stop Module that operates trains around a loop or along a
line with a station, stopping the trains at the station and changing the direction at
each departure (if required).
At each end of the track, or at the station, an Infra-Red sensor is fixed below the
track to detect the train which stops when the module switches off the track power.

Signal Control

The Signal Controller detects trains by bouncing invisible Infra-Red (IR) light off the
underside of the rolling stock, and detecting the light reflected back. Once triggered
by the train, the module runs built-programs to simulate the operation of 2-, 3- or 4-
aspect signals.
